Not that you expected them this year anyway Let’s face it, nothing important happens in December. The games that slipped areBaby Steps,Skate Story, and Stick It To The Stickman. Baby Steps is the pick of the Delayed Three that I’m most looking forward to. I bet God Of War’s got a mud-soaked hill in it somewhere. Skate Story is Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater if Tony Hawk was a demon made out of glass....
This is no rally game reskin, but takes full advantage of the setting. Land too hard and you’ll lose a wheel or other valuable part of your machine, however. The tutorials take you through using them in different scenarios, and it’s a lot to consider. Enough that it’s simultaneously intimidating but exciting to see what dedicated players can wring from these physics. That full game is still “coming soon”, but you might grab the demo nowfrom Steam....
The studio have “paused operations” after apparently parting ways with publisher NetEase. “In the meantime, our incredible team members will be exploring new opportunities,” it continues. Departing team members have been quoting the post and providing their own context. “Our entire studio is getting laid off at end of year.” Former senior producer Kitty Lee is also describing the announcement as a “full studio shutdown”. Best of luck to everybody at Worlds Untold now looking for a new job....
