Foxhole is getting planes next summer and an infantry combat overhaul later this month

Planes, in a topdown MMO? It makes a little more sense if you watch the trailer. Dropping bombs on the world below? Delivering paratroopers behind enemy lines? I’m less clear on how air-to-air combat works. Otherwise air combat plugs into Foxhole’s vast battlefield is obvious ways. It sounds like a robust set of changes.

Halo 2's lost E3 2003 demo will finally be playable thanks to modder magic

The true highlight, though, is yet to come. And that’s through an entirely different Halo game:The Master Chief Collection. Idoremember really enjoying the campaign, though, and rinsing it over the course of a day or so. God, I loved dual-wielding and particularly, those Flood-ridden levels. Modders like Steven Garcia and Digsite members helped get the demo in shape, though.

Black Ops 6 devs still looking into unfair spawning - "yes, we saw ourselves in a Killcam before selecting a Loadout too"

Not a bad one. If you like Call Of Duty, you will like this. If you don’t like Call Of Duty, you will not like this." The latest patch seeks to address this, naturally. How safe can a spawn point be, before it starts to confer an unfair advantage? I’m interested to read more about how spawn systems work. “SMGs are receiving damage range increases to improve their mid-range effectiveness.”...

Buggy monsters in Monster Hunter Wilds have sparked a wave of low-poly animal adoration

If every monster inMonster Hunter Wildswere that fancy all of the time, your machine would become a volcano. When they’re further afield, the flourishes fall away to free up memory and processing power. Capcom ain’t talking either. But the explanation is consistent with what I dimly understand of memory management in other video games. More importantly, the low poly monsters are just extremely good fun. So I won’t belabour the point this time....

Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 campaign review: a military shooter that comes disguised as other, better games

Or, depending on the setting, the Saving Private Ryan of video games. But it is barely Black Hawk Down. Still, there is an anecdotal contingent of casual sofa sitters for whom Call Of Duty isthegame. A balls-to-the-wall shooter to return to every winter and rinse through in a weekend. But never mind that. How does the single player story mode hold up? Some are calling it the best campaign in years....

Dragon Age: The Veilguard is Veil-good on the Steam Deck

Performance, parameters, and battery life tested Discourse? Theres also the fact that it, well, works. As in, you’re able to buy it on Steam, launch it, and play it. You launch, youre in. Only momentarily, though, and youre more likely to occupy the 30-35fps range during actual play. Higher ones, too, when exploring some of Thedass tighter interiors. Again, more details on that below. Factorio: Space Age review: a stellar expansion produces a masterful final form

The factory has grown To say thatFactorio: Space Agethrows out the rulebook is an understatement. With each new planet and each new phase, Space Age reinvents itself. I’m battling hyperbole here, but ah hell, I admit defeat. Aside from a handful of quality of life changes, you basically just play a new game of Factorio. Punch rocks and trees. Place miners on iron and copper. Spin plates that keep everything manually fed until you have some boilers and steam engines up and running....
