Blizzard Albany QA testers win their fight for union vote

QA testers at Blizzard Albany have won their right to vote for whether to form a union by the NLRB, after arguments against by Activision Blizzard.

The decision comes after arguments were made to the US National Labor Relations Board (NLRB).

Parent company Activision Blizzard had argued that all 88 Blizzard Albany employees should get to vote on the union.

The NLRB rejected this argument.

Microsoft are currently in the process of trying to buy Activision Blizzard for $69 billion.

Microsoft have saidthey won’t block the resultsof employees' unionisation efforts within the publisher.
