You’re also likely to have more luck searching for Dapperwings during the daytime.

In particular, there are two places to search if you’re having trouble finding a Dapperwing.

The hunter in Monster Hunter Wilds looks at some Dapperwings perching on a rock at a beach.

The first location to search is by the ruins on the west side of area 12 in the Forest.

There are often lots of birds flitting about this area or resting on the upper ledges of the ruins.

Then holdLTorRight-Clickto aim your Capture Net, and a rectangular aid will appear around your crosshair.

If the rectangle is orange, then you’re in range to capture what you’re aiming at.

If the rectangle stays white, then you’ll need to get closer before you fire the net.

Once you’re in position, you’re free to fire the net by tappingRTorFwhile aiming.
