So, I thought I’d give the game a whirl but as a solo player.

Well, sort of fine for a bit, then quite agonising, actually.

Trolls have the cloud in a vice grip, for instance.

Four Glitch Busters stand ready to bust some glitches.

There’s mention of a social media brand that’s remarkably similar to Twitter but not quite.

The options are strong.

As each character has magnet legs, the game lets you pull off some clever moves.

All of the above, then, is great… with friends.

When you’re on your lonesome, things take a bit of a turn.

I’ve tackled some of the game’s Story Mode, which is what I played last year.

Glitch Busters use their magnetise abilities to whizz about on the ground in a cute cityscape.

Normally you’d do the whole multiplayer lobby thing and hop to it.

Ah, love a ping I do.

It’s a decent system, if a bit of a micro-managing nightmare as the levels up in complexity…

A stack of Glitch Busters in a sidescroller section, where they shoot a wall of gunky glitches.

I watch a lot, I mean alotof reality show Below Deck.

This is a long-winded way of saying that Glitchbusters transformed me into a weary captain.

Sometimes they’d not quite stack up when needed.

Most of the time they’d get on my nerves.

I rarely ever do such a thing.

None of my rant is to say that Glitch Busters: Stuck On You is a bad time.

But if you’re forced to hang with AI companions?

I wouldn’t put yourself through it.
