Swinging up the wrong tree
I resentGrapple Dogfor making me resent Grapple Dog.
He doesnt deserve it.
See his little paws, there, dangling out of that cannon?

Tip of the iceberg.
We started off on much better terms.
Its a decent hook in some regards, but its woefully limited.

you might only aim it diagonally left or right, or straight upwards.
Not too much, though.
I cant totally condemn that approach.

Those arent the only circumstances where repetition raises its ugly head.
The early worlds are gentle, but towards the end Grapple Dog gets gruelling.
Reader, I screamed at him.

There are some (not quite) redeeming creatures.
I wish I could point to novelty beyond that, but there are only glimmers.
At the end of the day, though, its repetition that kills the beast.

Im sorry, Grapple Dog.
