Grand Theft Auto: Vice City is best left as a hazy, enjoyable memory

This isnt what I expected to discover when I returned to Rockstars most beloved setting last month. It’s not exactly breaking news that a video game from 2002 doesnt hold up. As does Morrowind, also from 2002, and many older games from other genres. That Vice City feels rudimentary, embryonic and nothing more, was a genuine surprise. I should offer appropriate context, which means talking about Vice City’s predecessor. Grand Theft Auto 3 was released in 2001 and seemed, at first, impossible....

And what can I say? A lot of us wereverytaken with those lovely flamingos. Ed: It’s no surprise that I’m impressed by how good it all looks. Finally, it seems we’re getting a game that’strulybuilt for next-gen! Still, I can’t say I’m not excited to see more. James:It sure looks like aGrand Theft Auto. Or guy and girl, in this case. Against The Storm review: a roguelite citybuilder awash with great ideas

There is no combat here, though. Instead of vikings or (shudder) the English, your main antagonists are abstract concepts. A sustainable source of fuel. A raging storm that arrives in phases, the harshest of which reduces your citizens happiness substantially. But its the Queen herself who lives to give you the most grief. Earn enough and your settlement is deemed complete, allowing you to move onto the next. On top of this, the forest itself contains mysteries, modifiers that both help and hinder your progress....

Dungeons & Dragons co-op multiplayer game on the way from Payday devs

We are excited to unveil Dungeons & Dragons as the IP for our next game, codename Project Baxter. Itll play nice with consoles, though, thanks to confirmed cross-play support. And those Dungeons And/Or Dragons will probably look fairly nice, being built on Unreal Engine 5. I hear that Baldurs Gate game did pretty alright for itself.

Endure The Swarm pits your sokoban skills against endless, horrible insects

Rather, you must call upon your mammalian mastery of spatial reasoning to survive. The insect hivemind, you see, is incapable of grasping the complexities of block positioning. Suffice to say the protagonist spends more time on his feet these days. I do wonder if there’s a mental health/gig work commentary hidden in here somewhere. I mean, there definitely is, but I don’t know how deliberate it is. Each level consists of a discreet checkerboard layout with various rooms, routes and obstacles....

AMD's Ryzen 7 5800X3D processor dips to £271 at Amazon after retailing for £290

A nice price drop on the ultimate AM4 gaming processor. I regret the error. Original article continues below. This is thanks to the 3D V-Cache design signified by the ‘X3D’ suffix on the CPU’s name. Essentially AMD stacked multiple levels of L3 cache on the CPU, tripling its size.
