Baldur's Gate 3 is a relentlessly horny video game

And also every single one of those misfit heroes wants to get at you. In many cases with zero prompting from you whatsoever. In hindsight, picking from a selection of genitals in character creation was probably a clue. (He’s actually quite sweet but also very full of himself.) Get it, girl. I thought I was safe! This isn’t bad, though. And, that being the case, why limit yourself? It’s a fantasy world....

Baldur's Gate 3: How to respec your character

Withers is a fairly distinctive-looking character not a skeleton, but not exactly alive, either. Once you find him, he’ll become a vendor at your camp. It will cost 100 gold each time you respec your character. you might respec a companion as well for the same cost. There are 12 hireling options one for every class. Early in your game, you’ll find a waypoint in the Overgrown Ruins. If you didn’t save Shadowheart on the ship, you’ll see her banging on a door nearby....

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 trailer has old faces and flashy enigmas

What does all this bode? I’m going to say “shooting”. When I was a lad, we had to make do with M16s and gumption.

Dead By Daylight: Alien trailer confirms playable Ripley, unique map elements

you’re able to get a glimpse of all that in the trailer. Also in the trailer: her majesty Ellen Ripley, who joins the cast of Survivors. And Jonesy the Cat, who is of course the actual villain of the film. I hope he gets what’s coming to him. I wonder if they’ve piped any learnings from that project’s map-creator community back into Dead By Daylight? It’s certainly a game that understands the value of a well-placed flamethrower....

Asus ROG Strix Scar 17 (2023) review: the grand duke of desktop replacements

Part of this, I think, is the asking price. This display is ‘only’ 2560x1440, though again, theres a sense of pragmaticism here. Then again, theres nothing to nitpick about its colour reproduction. Games therefore look brilliant, especially if theyre running fast enough to exploit that esports-grade refresh rate. This yanked that improved 84fps average all the way up to 132fps, all other controls being equal. A near-doubling of the native, non-ray traced result....

Baldur's Gate 3 players already have a bazillion requests for modders

What Id like most is the ability to switch between characters during dialogue. I experimented with havingShadowhearttake the fore, but shes not especially charming either in the early game. I wanted to be friends with those ogres, Shadow. Couldnt you have tagged in my Sorceress rather than winging it? Its not just a question of matching the right ability score to the situation. Given how outspoken your comrades can be in general e....

Bayonetta creator Hideki Kamiya wants us to drop the "retro" game label

Assuming you canstill reach the game at all. Elsewhere in the same chat, Kamiya went long on the “JRPG” label. “I have a positive sentiment when it comes to the term JRPG. Indeed, I think it’s something that we should be proud of.” “When you look at God of War, you have Kratos. He’s muscly, he’s huge, he’s bald, he looks really kick-ass, basically. Baldur's Gate 3 absolutely trains you in the noble art of savescumming

This is not something the game discourages. In fact, I would say that Larian’s Dungeons-&-Dragons-but-digital game actively encourages it. Kaput, in about an hour. The lesson is “the DM is a prick, so savescum often”. That’s not a good thing or a bad thing, it’s just a thing. Because the aim is to all have fun together, right? We should have a less negative term for it when it’s basically built in to the process....
