Dead Island 2 Steam Deck performance report: a mostly sunny outlook

Still, playable it very much is. Like a subliminal message trying to convince you how witty and well-shot a past cinematic was. Otherwise, compatibility with the Steam Deck even on a jerry-rigged Epic app seems fine. The sleep and resume feature works as well, just as it would on a Steam game. Then I applied the secret sauce,AMD FSR 2on its Quality setting. After identifying the most FPS-hungry of the individual options and busting them down to Low, stability returned....

If not, you’ll find it on Steam for 14.23/$17. The originalDesktop Dungeonswas a devilish delight. Explore too much too early and you risk being weak when you face the level’s final enemy. Dead Island 2 review: as disposably entertaining as an electrified pipe-wrench

Menace beach To pre-empt your first question, no,Dead Island 2was not worth waiting eleven years for. In its defence, however, few things are. Yet that doesn’t mean it’s a bad game. In fact, it’s quite an enjoyable one. This might seem like a slight oversight on the developer’s part. But it’s in keeping with the sequel’s laissez-faire attitude toward its own premise. But your plane has barely cleared the Hollywood sign before it’s shot down by the military....

Fabledom is a fairytale citybuilder about romancing princes and princesses

It’s in early access now. Honestly, smoochie-woochies are a much more compelling endgame for a citybuilder to me thanBanished-style starvation and pestilence. The developers also describe its current state as “far from complete”. If that doesn’t scare you off, you canfind Fabledom on Steamfor $15/13.49.

Climb a Brutalist tower in this first-person platformer inspired by Minecraft parkour

I didn’t even know Minecraft had parkour. Then I look up and oh. That’s quite high. Best get up it. Not from what I’ve seen, anyway. The game is full of little shortcuts and clever tricks to hasten your climb. Quite interesting to experience something new. I might never reach the top of Beton Brutal. All the same, I’m enjoying my time in this terrible tower. Even the occasional trickles of dust and debris are pleasant....
