AsEd detailed in his review earlier this week,Gotham Knightsis a bit of a disappointing dud. It didn’t help that throughout my time with Gotham Knights, I was thinking about theArkhamseries. Gotham Knights isn’t a new entry in the Arkham series, of course. Batman is dead, after all. That’s a pretty big difference. But that doesn’t change the undeniable fact that Gotham Knights invites comparison at every turn. The issue is that Gotham Knights doesn’t hold a candle toanyof these games....

But this time, it’s just about the funniest game I can remember playing. It’s calledGartic Phone. The concept is very simple and likely familiar: everyone starts by writing a prompt for a storyboard scene. That prompt is then given to another person to draw, and so on and so forth. Luckily, I’m a terrible artist. And probability suggests that you are too.You’ll like Gartic Phone.

The decision comes after arguments were made to the US National Labor Relations Board (NLRB). Parent company Activision Blizzard had argued that all 88 Blizzard Albany employees should get to vote on the union. The NLRB rejected this argument. Microsoft are currently in the process of trying to buy Activision Blizzard for $69 billion. Microsoft have saidthey won’t block the resultsof employees' unionisation efforts within the publisher.

The Crysis Remastered Trilogy will cost 45/50/$50 when it launcheson Steam. I have maximum heart for the original Crysis, but I wasunderwhelmed by the remaster of the original. No worries, James. Crysis Remastered Trilogy will launch on Steam on November 17th. It’ll probably be the last Crysis thing for a while, sinceCrysis 4 was announcedbut sounds years away.

TheSilent Hill 2remake from Bloober Team is real! The developers of Observation are making a new Silent Hill game! There’s a third new game calledSilent Hill f! It’s being published by Annapurna, and developed by No Code, the makers ofStories Untoldand Observation. There was an evocative trailer with a creepy voiceover, but no real glimpse of the game itself....
